2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix - F2 Baku Qualifying results

Alex Dunne clinched pole position for the first F2 feature race in Baku, with the support series holding an extra grid-setting session and an additional main event at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Qualifying 1 has determined the starting order for the Sprint and Feature Race 1, with Martinius Stenshorne and Noel Leon rounding out the top three.

Kush Maini and Rafael Camara completed the top five at the Baku City Circuit in the first of two 20-minute sessions.

Championship leader Nikola Tsolov qualified P10 and provisionally will assume sprint pole. However, the Red Bull junior is among numerous drivers who will be investigated by the stewards for driving unnecessarily slowly, including Dunne and Stenshore.

With no refuelling between the two segments, Qualifying 1 was run at a slower pace than Qualifying 2.

Qualifying 2

Stenshorne secured pole for F2 Feature Race 2 at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, beating out Rodin team-mate Dunne and Camara at the Baku City Circuit.

The two Rodin drivers locked out the front row of the grid in both qualifying sessions, an emphatic result for the team.

Aston Martin junior driver Mari Boya was fourth-quickest, with Maini just behind in fifth.

Qualifying 2 will feature no reverse-grid element, as it will determine the starting order for only the second full-length feature race in Baku.

Colton Herta, who qualified a lowly P21 in Qualifying 1 and 2, pulled off a full 360-degree spin, but managed to keep his Hitech machine out of the wall.
