2026 F1 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix - Time Schedule

After the move of the Spanish Grand Prix to the new Madring, for the first time, the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix will be held in 2026.

It is to become a rotational event with the Belgian Grand Prix, with the Barcelona round to be held in even-numbered years, and will next appear on the calendar in 2028, with the arrangement lasting until 2032.

Other than that, the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix will be exactly the same as the old Spanish Grand Prix at the circuit, with the race lasting 66 laps.

Friday practice is to get underway at 13:30 local time on Friday, June 12th, before Free Practice 2 at 17:00.

Free Practice 3 is set for 12:30 local time on Saturday, June 13th, before qualifying at 16:00 local time.

The 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix is set for a 15:00 local time start on Sunday, June 14th.
