2026 F1 British Grand Prix - Silverstone Time Schedule

The 2026 F1 British Grand Prix from Silverstone will be the ninth round of the 2026 F1 season - and the fourth Sprint event.

For the first time since 2021, Silverstone will host a Sprint weekend, with the shorter race set to take place on Saturday, July 4th, ahead of the main grand prix on Sunday, July 5th.

The sole free practice session will take place at 12:30 BST on Friday, July 3rd, before Sprint Qualifying takes place later that afternoon at 16:30 BST.

The Sprint race itself is planned for a 12:00 BST start on Saturday, July 4th, before grand prix qualifying later that afternoon at 16:00 BST.

The 52-lap 2026 F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone is due to start at 15:00 BST on Sunday, July 5th.
