Formula E returns this weekend for the continuation of the Asian leg of its 2026 campaign with the Shanghai E-Prix.
The all-electric series remains in China after racing on Hainan Island just over a week ago for the first time since 2019, while this weekend's trip to the Shanghai International Circuit marks its third consecutive visit.
Shanghai will host a double-header, comprising the 12th and 13th rounds of the championship. It also kickstarts the final six races of the season, making every race from now on significant in the title fight.
The top four in the championship all failed to score points in the last round, meaning Mitch Evans remains 19 points clear of reigning world champion Oliver Rowland. Edoardo Mortara and Pascal Wehrlein remain third and fourth respectively.
A major factor this weekend will be the weather, as consistent rain and thunderstorms are forecast throughout the event. The paddock will be hoping for no session disruptions, with the action starting on Friday with first practice at 16:00 local time (09:00 BST).
Saturday and Sunday both feature a practice session, qualifying and an E-Prix, with Saturday's race featuring Pit Boost and Sunday's including two Attack Modes. The sessions take place at the same times on both days.
