Edoardo Mortara secured pole position for the second race of Formula E's Tokyo E-Prix, defeating Antonio Felix da Costa in the final.
Mortara was dominant throughout qualifying, while da Costa joins him on the front row with Saturday's winner Dan Ticktum and Taylor Barnard on the second row.
Championship leader Mitch Evans enjoyed a better qualifying than he did on Saturday and successfully progressed to the duels, securing seventh on the grid.
The same could not be said for Pascal Wehrlein and Saturday's polesitter Jake Dennis, who were both eliminated in the group stage.
*Joel Eriksson has a three-place grid penalty, as does Sebastien Buemi.
