Find out when the 2026 Le Mans 24 Hours gets underway today – held at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe!

Race start time for 2026 Le Mans 24 Hours

It is time for one of the most iconic events on the motorsport calendar, as the 94th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours gets underway today.

The legendary 24-hour race represents the fourth round of the World Endurance Championship (WEC), but it is the only event on the calendar that allows LMP2 machinery.

A remarkable 62 cars will take the start at the Circuit de la Sarthe, with 186 drivers set to battle for overall victory and prestigious class honours.

It is the #15 BMW M Team WRT entry that starts from overall and Hypercar pole position after setting a new lap record, while Ferrari is targeting a fourth consecutive victory at Le Mans. Last year's winning customer entry, the #83 AF Corse Ferrari, starts from 17th on the grid.

The race is due to start at 15:00 GMT on Saturday, 13 June, and will run for 24 hours, finishing at 15:00 GMT on Sunday, 14 June.

Le Mans operates on Central European Time (CET), which is one hour ahead of GMT, meaning the race starts at 16:00 local time and finishes at 16:00 local time on Sunday.

For those on the East Coast of the United States, the race gets underway at 10:00 ET before finishing 24 hours later.
