Cadillac has reaped the reward from its signing of Sergio Perez by landing one of the Mexican driver's long-term partners.
Perez has been heavily supported throughout his F1 career by a plethora of major Mexican brands, leading to América Movil opting to partner with F1's newest team.
The Mexican telecommunications giant will be represented by its familiar names - Telcel, Infinitum, and Claro - which will be on the cars and in the paddock.
Cadillac's global head of commercial strategy Tyler Epp said: “We are delighted to welcome América Móvil to the Cadillac Formula 1 Team at this exciting stage in our journey.
"Above all, we want to be a strong contributor to the sport, and having brands with a long history of Formula 1 participation will help us connect authentically with existing fans of Formula 1 while reaching ones in emerging markets."
Swayed by Perez signing for Cadillac, América Móvil chief marketing officer Marcela Velasco Cámara said: "When Sergio joined the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, we saw the scale of their ambition, and it was only natural for us to be part of their journey.
"Our partnership with the Cadillac Formula 1 Team reflects América Móvil’s vision of advancing world-class technology platforms that connect talent, speed, and innovation with millions of people.
"Through brands such as Telcel, Infinitum, and Claro, we reaffirm our commitment to technological development, high-performance sport, and an increasingly global, passionate, and discerning fan base."
