The weights of every F1 car in 2026

Find out the weight of every 2026 F1 car

The F1 cars for the 2026 campaign were built under a major regulation change, which reintroduced active aero and saw brand new power units come in play.

It was labelled by many experts as the biggest year-on-year rule change in F1 history and so far, it has generated some surprises.

While Mercedes is excelling at the head of the pecking order, others are struggling.

This includes Aston Martin and Williams, who have been competing towards the rear of the field across the opening three rounds of the year.

It comes as no surprise, then, that Aston Martin and Williams are the two teams with the heaviest cars at the start of the new season.

With the minimum weight limit set at 768 kilograms, Williams is an estimated 26 kg over the limit.

Those who are under the limit must meet the requirement by adding ballast to the car. Below, you can see the weights for each team this year.

All figures are approximate and the result of consulting multiple sources with knowledge of the matter.
