Max Verstappen will return to the Nordschleife for the qualifying races ahead of the 24 Hours of Nurburgring later this year.
Verstappen had his first outing at the famous track last month, where he crossed the line in first place to seal victory.
However, the Dutchman, alongside team-mates Jules Gounon and Dani Juncadella, were disqualified due to a tyre use infringement.
Verstappen's entry into the 24 Hours of Nurburgring was already confirmed, but it has now been announced that the 28-year-old will return earlier than expected.
He will now get back behind the wheel on April 18 and 19, joining team-mate Lucas Auer.
Verstappen's participation is possible following the cancellation of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which was due to be held on the same weekend.
He will no doubt be gunning for more success, having won his first race around the venue late last year.
Verstappen's preparations for the 24 Hour race are already underway as he was spotted lapping the circuit just days after the Japanese Grand Prix.
