F1 takes out insurance policy with latest deal

F1 has signed a new partner to its ever-expanding roster.

Formula 1 has secured a multi-year partnership with global insurance broker Marsh, adding another major brand to its expanding commercial portfolio.

The agreement sees Marsh become the sport's Official Risk Partner and Official Insurance Brokering Partner, marking a significant entry into global sport for the company as a unified brand.

Marsh, which operates in 130 markets worldwide, will leverage Formula 1's platform to connect with business leaders across industries. The partnership builds on F1's 827 million-strong fanbase and the sport's presence in more than 20 countries.

As part of the deal, Marsh will receive prominent trackside branding and the ability to create curated guest experiences at races throughout the calendar.

The company will also present 'Risk Perspective', a content series featured on F1.com and the F1 app. The series will explore nine specific circuits where drivers and teams must interpret risk, adapt to evolving conditions and make decisive calls under pressure.

"It's fantastic that Marsh is joining the F1 family as an Official Partner, bringing their focus on performance, innovative solutions and global growth to further enhance our sport," said Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1.

John Doyle, President and CEO of Marsh, highlighted the synergy between the organisations.

"Formula 1 embodies the pinnacle of performance, precision and resilience, values that are deeply aligned with Marsh's commitment to helping clients navigate complexity and unlock opportunity," Doyle said.

The partnership adds to Formula 1's recent commercial expansion, which has included deals with luxury conglomerate LVMH and the extension of its agreement with lottery-led entertainment company Allwyn.
