Charles Leclerc has been handed a huge 20-second time penalty by the Miami Grand Prix stewards, dropping the Ferrari to eighth.
On the final lap, Leclerc spun and hit the Turn 3 wall, but was able to continue, albeit with a damaged car which could not turn to the right.
As a result of this, he "left the track" multiple times are right-handed corners on the final lap, which, despite the mechanical woes, did not count as a "justifiable" reason to the stewards, who promptly handed him a 20-second penalty - akin to a drive-through penalty.
This drops Leclerc from sixth on the road to eighth in the final results, moving Lewis Hamilton up to sixth and Franco Colapinto to a career-best seventh place.
Elsewhere, investigations involving George Russell and Max Verstappen did not lead to any further penalties.
