Zane Maloney is set to return to Rally Barbados for the first time since 2023, the Caribbean's biggest motorsport event.
The Lola Formula E driver will enter the rally from May 29–31, driving a Porsche 992 GT Rally.
The rally consists of 19 stages and is set to feature 123 entries, with Maloney's participation backed by Rock Hard Cement, Bushy Park Barbados, MJT FBO, Stone Atelier, Flo and Maloney Racing. He will be joined by co-driver Luke Staffner.
Maloney's last entry in 2023 produced mixed results, as the 22-year-old won the Friday-night Sol Super Special at Bushy Park before crashing on the second day of action, ending his event.
His entry into the rally was confirmed during a media briefing at Bushy Park by rally director Neil Barnard.
"I’m very pleased to announce that Zane Maloney will compete in both King of the Hill and Rally Barbados 2026 in a Porsche 992 Rally GT backed by Rock Hard Cement, Bushy Park Barbados, MJT FBO, Stone Atelier, Flo and Maloney Racing, with co-driver Luke Staffner," said Barnard, as quoted by Barbados Today.
"Zane is now a professional driver with Lola Yamaha in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship [and] he was the youngest winner of King of the Hill in his Skoda Fabia Rally 2 in 2022 aged just 18."
