Red Bull will enter the Dutch Grand Prix from Zandvoort this weekend with an altered driver line-up, with Isack Hadjar sidelined with injury.
Hadjar has been ruled out following an issue with his wrist, marking an unwelcome interruption to the Frenchman's strong campaign.
The 21-year-old will be replaced by Liam Lawson, who gets a second call-up to Red Bull following his promotion at the start of the 2025 campaign.
On that occasion, Lawson endured a highly challenging two grands prix alongside Max Verstappen and was dropped back to Racing Bulls shortly afterwards.
However, the 2026 campaign has been a considerable improvement for Lawson, who has bagged eight point-scoring finishes in the opening 11 rounds.
With Racing Bulls also needing a substitute driver in his place for Zandvoort, the Faenza-based squad has called on team veteran Yuki Tsunoda.
Tsunoda was dropped from a full-time F1 seat at the end of 2025 after a difficult campaign with Red Bull, but remained in the family as a reserve driver.
Prior to his stint at the senior team, the Japanese driver spent four seasons with Racing Bulls, scoring a career-best fourth place during his rookie season.
"Red Bull Racing driver, Isack Hadjar, has sustained a wrist injury during summer shutdown that will prevent him from racing at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix," read a statement.
"We will be welcoming back Liam Lawson, who will replace him in RB22 this weekend.
"The Team wishes Isack a speedy recovery and thanks Liam for stepping in on short notice."
