Lewis Hamilton has ended the second practice session from Monaco on top of the timesheet, besting team-mate Charles Leclerc.
The seven-time champion logged a 1:13.026 to go just over one-tenth of a second faster than the local favourite.
Prior to the race weekend, Ferrari emerged as many of its rivals' favourite for success in Monaco.
Its performance on Friday backed up those claims, having bagged a 1-2 in both FP1 and FP2.
It was a more dismal session for Lando Norris, who was subjected to just eight laps after he ground to a halt with a power unit issue 13 minutes into the session.
Max Verstappen was the closest challenger to the Ferrari duo as he set the third fastest lap time, coming in 0.168s down on Hamilton.
His team-mate Isack Hadjar returned to the track following his heavy shunt in FP1 and vaulted himself to sixth place in the order.
Lodged between the two Red Bull entries was the Mercedes pair, with this time George Russell having the upper hand on Kimi Antonelli.
One red flag was deployed during the session, which came in the final five minutes when Sergio Perez stopped his car on track with his brakes on fire.
While no driver had terminal damage with the wall on this occasion, Franco Colapinto was lucky to escape a side-on impact with the barrier after locking up in Turn 1.
Oscar Piastri was seventh in the leading McLaren entry, heading what will be a pleased Audi duo as Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto climbed into the top half of the order.
Haas’ Oliver Bearman rounded out the top 10.
The next on-track action will take place at 12:30 local time on Saturday, as the drivers partake in the final practice segment.
