Red Bull appears to be nearing another change to its F1 driver line-up as it eyes its next junior to promote to the sister Racing Bulls squad.
The 2026 campaign has so far been highly positive for the Faenza-based squad who is running Liam Lawson and rookie Arvid Lindblad as its two drivers.
Lawson has scored points at five out of the opening seven rounds, while Lindblad has impressed with three top 10 finishes as he comes to grips with F1.
However, it is becoming increasingly more likely that a driver will have to make way for another young talent in 2027.
RacingNews365 understands that Red Bull junior Nikola Tsolov has emerged as a serious option for Racing Bulls next year.
However, contrary to reports, a final decision has not yet been made and the deal is not yet signed.
Tsolov, who was once part of Fernando Alonso's A14 Management programme, joined the Red Bull junior team in 2025, having previously been affiliated with Alpine.
After finishing runner-up in the Formula 3 championship last year, Tsolov is currently having a successful rookie campaign in Formula 2, sitting second in the standings with three victories.
While the promotion is not yet 100 per cent certain, the chances that Tsolov will be promoted in 2027 remain high - but it is not yet known who would make way, and a lot also rides on Max Verstappen's future as it could cause further rotation in the Red Bull system.
