F1 teams are in a race against time to set up for the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix this weekend.
The sport descends upon the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for round seven of the campaign which kicks off just a handful of days following the end of the Monaco Grand Prix.
The Monaco-Barcelona turnaround marks the second double-header event held this year, following the opening two rounds of the season in Australia and China.
In Monaco, the paddock received an expansion this season to help teams navigate the tight space in which they set up their motorhomes.
However, the teams were still found to be constrained within the area available, and the situation was not helped by the set up of three noticeably large motorhomes in Monte Carlo.
The motorhomes serve as the headquarters for the team throughout the weekend, with activities including meetings, dining and hosting celebrity guests.
But with the pack down process proving to be a significant challenge, several teams have been delayed, resulting in a late departure for Barcelona.
RacingNews365 understands that all 11 teams have now reached the paddock in Barcelona, but for some, the build-up has started much later than expected.
In an effort to ensure all is ready in time for the start of the weekend, the affected teams have strengthened their workforce on-site.
While there is optimism that the job will be completed, the challenge to do so is considerable.
The three days of on-track action will kick off on Friday afternoon with the opening practice session at 13:30 local time.
Oscar Piastri enters the race weekend as the reigning winner around the track, having won from Lando Norris 12 months ago.
