Ferrari has delivered a huge upgrade to the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, featuring eight new parts as it addresses a weakness Lewis Hamilton spotted.
In Miami, Hamilton was vocal about the SF-26's front-wing not looking like those from the other leading teams, McLaren, Mercedes, and Red Bull, as the end-plates lacked diveplanes fitted to them.
The diveplane is there to manipulate airflow at the front of the car and to help manage the turbulence created by the front tyres, but up until now, the Ferrari has not featured this design.
This has now been rectified ahead of the Barcelona race, on a circuit renowned for its strength of testing a car's aerodynamic performance.
The nose of the car has also been modified with a new straight mode mechanism, but the team has also delivered a brand-new floor and diffuser for Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
Featuring "robust" improvements, the upgrade has seen Ferrari reduce the keel volume, and redesign the front-leading edge profiles and optimise these elements, with a more aggressive angle of attack from the diffuser to create downforce.
A new sidepod design has also been shipped to Spain.
Elsewhere, McLaren has a simple front-wing tweak to improve air-flow conditioning, Mercedes has delivered a new rear wing with added winglets to boost performance, whilst Red Bull has a new front-wing option to improve the geometry and improve air-flow.
The other upgrades
Elsewhere, Williams has a tweaked rear wing to offer more load at high-downforce tracks and Racing Bulls has offered a new front wing and rear crash structure and diffuser for Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad, with Haas also bringing a new rear crash structure.
Cadillac is the eighth team to bring new parts, with cooling louvres being added, whilst it has also re-introduced the straight mode wing activation device, something missing from all cars in Monaco.
