Ferrari has been fined after breaching the sporting regulations during Friday practice at the Belgian Grand Prix.
The Maranello-based outfit was summoned to the stewards over an alleged breach relating to the handling and return of tyres to supplier Pirelli following first practice at Spa-Francorchamps.
The breach related to Article 6.4.2 of the sporting regulations, which governs the tyre return procedure.
Ferrari reportedly failed to return a set of tyres to Pirelli within the required timeframe after FP1, prompting the matter to be referred to the FIA after second practice.
After reviewing the case, the stewards determined that a financial penalty of €10,000, €5,000 for each driver, was a proportionate and sufficient punishment for the infringement.
Hamilton and Leclerc ended Friday's FP2 session in fourth and 11th respectively.
