Five suspects have been arrested in France in connection with the robbery of four-time F1 world champion Alain Prost at his home in Nyon, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva.
According to Blick, the prosecution service in Pontoise, near Paris, confirmed the arrests of five individuals aged between 16 and 22.
Two of the suspects are minors, whilst the remaining three have been remanded in custody.
The group faces charges of theft, kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, and participation in a criminal gang.
The robbery took place just over a month ago, when Prost, 71, was attacked inside his own home.
He sustained a head injury during a struggle, and the perpetrators threatened his family before forcing his son to open the safe. The gang fled with the contents, including several luxury watches.
Prost is widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport.
The Frenchman claimed four world championships between 1985 and 1993, driving for McLaren and Williams, and won 51 grands prix across his career, a record that stood for many years after his retirement in 1993.
