Kimi Antonelli has discovered the stewards' verdict after being investigated following the final practice session in Barcelona.
Antonelli was left frustrated in the final moments of the outing as he looked to get his eye in ahead of qualifying today.
However, he found himself being blocked by multiple drivers, including Aston Martin's Lance Stroll. In response, he voiced his annoyance over team radio.
Right after the incident, Antonelli also appeared to move over and block Stroll himself, resulting in an investigation from the stewards.
In their verdict, the panel decided to reprimand the Mercedes driver, his first of the F1 season. The official decision document confirmed: "Car 12 was impacted by Car 18 when approaching turn 1. After passing Car 18, the driver of Car 12 applied the brakes in front of Car 18 and prevented the latter from passing. This is deemed driving in an erratic manner.
"The driver admitted during the hearing that he acted out of frustration and apologised for his action."
