Lance Stroll has crashed out of the Monaco Grand Prix, instigating a late safety car and flurry of pit stops towards the end of the 78-lap race in Monte Carlo.
It provided the numerous drivers with five-second time penalties, including Lewis Hamilton, the opportunity to serve their punishments.
Unfortunately for Charles Leclerc, who was behind his Ferrari team-mate, the Scuderia decided to double-stack the pair, so his chance of jumping the seven-time F1 drivers' champion at the chequered flag has been lost.
The Monegasque driver was audibly frustrated, questioning the Italian team's decision-making over team radio.
Race leader Kimi Antonelli was unable to pit in time when the intervention was called, but came in a lap later with his own team-mate as all drivers were directed through the pit lane to avoid the Aston Martin stranded at the final corner.
George Russell, who also has a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane, did not serve his punishment and is in danger of being handed a subsequent penalty by the stewards.
