Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz have both been summoned to the stewards following third practice ahead of this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.
The duo were involved in a near miss at the bottom of the circuit in the final moments of the session while double-waved yellow flags were being shown.
An accident for Lewis Hamilton on his final lap at Turn 13 left gravel and debris scattered across Spa-Francorchamps, while his heavily damaged Ferrari remained stationary on the track.
Sainz is under investigation for allegedly failing to slow under the yellow flags at Turn 12, having almost driven into the back of Verstappen, who was furious about the incident.
Verstappen immediately said over the radio: "What the ***?! My god! It's like, double yellows and this car [Sainz], it's like, almost crashes in the back of me, unbelievable."
The Spaniard slammed on the brakes and suffered a huge lock-up to avoid hitting the four-time world champion.
