Max Verstappen has named the ability to race in front of the Dutch Grand Prix fans at Zandvoort as a "privilege" ahead of the final race.
Zandvoort drops off the calendar after this weekend's event, the sixth since it returned to the calendar, thanks to Verstappen's popularity in 2021.
Of the previous five, he has won three times, in 2021-2023, and then finished second in both 2024 and 2025, with his average finishing position of 1.4 second only to the 1.0 he enjoys at Imola.
For the first time, Zandvoort will be hosting a Sprint race as well, as Verstappen reflected on his final home race.
"We have relaxed and recharged after summer break, and I'm excited to head straight into Zandvoort race week," said Verstappen.
"It will be a special one for myself and the fans, as this is the final Dutch Grand Prix before it leaves the calendar.
"I have had so many good memories here in Zandvoort, and to have been able to race in front of my home crowd for the past few years has been a privilege and one of my many highlights.
"I will be racing in my special helmet this week, with the design attributed to the famous Delft Blue pottery.
"This is a very traditional and beautiful pattern and something a bit more unique for the final race.
The helmet is a tribute to the Dutch fans for their continued support through the years, so we are hoping to do them proud this weekend."
