Mitch Evans has outlined what he and Jaguar must keep doing in order to fight for the Formula E drivers' title across the final seven rounds.
The New Zealander, who will leave Jaguar at the end of the season after a decade with the team, has never won the drivers' championship but finds himself 19 points clear at the top.
Becoming world champion is the only box Evans has failed to tick at the Kidlington-based outfit, and his final campaign with the team is quickly becoming his best chance yet.
While he has come agonisingly close in the past, Jaguar appears to have the strongest and most consistently competitive package on the grid.
Evans himself is in mesmerising form, securing two victories and a further three podiums across the last eight rounds. It has become easy to forget that he failed to score a point in the opening two races.
However, the title is far from won ahead of the next round in Sanya in mid-June, with Evans knowing better than anyone not to get carried away by being at the top of the standings.
What he does know is what he must avoid doing, based on his previous experiences and mistakes when fighting for the title.
Asked what himself and the team must keep doing over the final seven rounds, Evans told RacingNews365: "I think we should continue what we're doing: minimise mistakes and keep preparing well.
"I think I can have good pace in the car now, like we showed in Monaco — good race pace and good one-lap pace. So we just need to continue that.
"Sanya, I don't know what the race will be like yet, but we've got a little bit of time to focus on that. But yeah, just keep doing what we're doing and minimise mistakes, trying to keep it clean.
"Obviously, we've been so consistent recently, and we need to try to keep that up."
