Nicholas Latifi makes surprise F1 return with British GP appearance

Nicholas Latifi has been seen back at an F1 grand prix after stepping away from motorsport three years ago.

Nicholas Latifi made a surprise return to the Formula 1 paddock ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix.

The former Williams driver left F1 at the end of the 2022 season after three campaigns with the Grove-based outfit, scoring points on three occasions in 61 starts.

He received horrific online abuse at the end of 2021 after Latifi's crash in Abu Dhabi triggered the controversial safety car in the closing laps.

Since leaving F1, Latifi has stepped away from motorsport, becoming co-founder of tequila brand Leve and graduating from London Business School.

Remarkably, he was spotted by F1 content creators Matt and Tommy at Silverstone, acting as a DJ at a Leve event.
