Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies has confirmed that neither Max Verstappen nor Isack Hadjar will use the team's upside-down rear wing at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.
Confirmation that the rear wing has been dropped was given to the BBC, with a traditional-style rear wing to be used instead.
It follows Verstappen suffering rear wing failures at back-to-back events at the Red Bull Ring and Silverstone, damaging the Dutchman's trust in the RB22.
In Austria, the four-time world champion was contesting pole position when his rear wing malfunctioned at the penultimate corner, resulting in him starting fifth rather than inside the top three.
Last time out at the British Grand Prix, Verstappen suffered a similar rear wing failure at Stowe while looking set for a comfortable third-place finish, resulting in a spin that left him beached in the gravel.
Since Silverstone, tests conducted by the Milton Keynes-based outfit have confirmed there is a problem with the upside-down rear wing.
In both of Verstappen's incidents, a small channel remained open, causing the rear of the car to become unstable and uncontrollable. After his spin in the British Grand Prix, the RB22 was described as "super dangerous" by its star driver.
