Carlos Sainz will join Fernando Alonso in starting the sprint at the Dutch Grand Prix from the pit lane following set-up changes to his Williams.
The Grove-based team confirmed it was with a view to gathering further data for the rest of the weekend at Zandvoort.
Sainz originally qualified P18 in a difficult grid-setting session for the Spaniard.
