Sergio Pérez has pulled out of his home fan forum in Mexico City after falling ill on the morning of his home grand prix weekend.

The 36-year-old was due to greet supporters at the event ahead of first practice at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, but the team opted to give him extra time to recover rather than risk his condition worsening before the track sessions.
