Should Oliver Bearman cut his ties with Ferrari?

Oliver Bearman has long been associated with Ferrari - but is it the best option for his F1 future?

Martin Brundle's suggestion during Sky Sports' Hungarian Grand Prix coverage that Oliver Bearman "may need a Plan B" has ignited a debate about the 21-year-old's future.

Bearman is a graduate of the Ferrari Driver Academy, which backed him through F3 and F2 before facilitating his remarkable F1 debut as a stand-in for Carlos Sainz at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

That pathway led to a full-time seat at Ferrari customer team Haas, where he currently races.

However, a problem exists, as Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are, as Brundle put it, "nailed on at Ferrari for a little while," effectively blocking Bearman's route to Maranello.

Bearman himself has acknowledged the situation, recently telling Beyond The Grid: "I don't want to be sitting around for three, four, five years waiting for a seat to become available."

He also made clear he remains loyal, for now: "Ferrari is the dream team. My goal remains to be a Ferrari driver one day."

So, should Bearman stay patient or explore other options? Cast your vote in our poll below!
