MotoGP points leader Marco Bezzecchi will not be taking part in Brno after being banned.
MotoGP officials have banned world championship points leader Marco Bezzecchi from the Czech Grand Prix after he twice struck a marshal.
Bezzecchi had crashed out of the Sprint race at Brno, and whilst his Aprilla machine was being recovered, struck a marshal twice after they appeared to accidentally rev the engine of the bike.
The Italian appeared to hit the marshal when first arriving at the bike and then after turning the engine off - but his actions were serious enough to warrant a suspension from the Czech GP.
It means Bezzecchi can lose his points lead in the race, which currently stands at 15 points over team-mate Jorge Martin.
